1. Use a balance board
Anouk Govil. Going to the beach isn’t necessary for those who want to improve their form for surfing. To improve balance, it might help to practice with a balance board. When using this equipment, the goal is to stay balanced for as long as possible. This exercise is also good for strengthening the core. It will also allow the person to develop the right posture for surfing.
Single leg balance exercises
Learning how to stand on one leg can be useful when it comes to surfing. From the simple form of simply standing for minutes with one leg to using equipment such as deadlifts, chairs, and stability balls, a person will be able to strengthen their body. This exercise will prepare a surfer for the huge waves they might face in the future. Anouk Govil.

Yoga
Yoga is an effective way to improve the body’s balance. As surfing involves learning how to deal with the waves, doing the stretches and breathing exercises in yoga will help a surfer navigate the sea better. Aside from helping them balance through various poses, the physical activity will strengthen their core and help them become aware of their surroundings especially when out in the water. Anouk Govil.
